Blog Update

You may have noticed that the Creations blog is undergoing a bit a a revamp - please bear with me as I should be finished soon!  I'll post an update on the changes along with details of the next fayre.

Update 23rd March 2012

I hope you like the new look to the Creations blog! :)  Here's an overview of some of the changes...

• I have added details for the next Creations Craft Fayre - it will be on Saturday 1st December.  I will be contacting past sellers shortly and will start to book places at the fayre.
• The left column of the blog will now be used for sellers ads linking to their website / blog / shop.  There is just one example so far, more will be added as stalls at the fayre are booked.
• I am often asked by sellers if I know of any other local fayres so I thought it would be useful to add a page for other local events.  If you know of any other craft fayres or events please leave a comment on the blog or email me and I'll add them to the page.
• I have also made a couple of blog badges please feel free to use these on your blog / website to link back to here.

Creations Christmas Craft Fayre

The Creations Christmas Craft Fayre on Saturday went well :)  I hope that crafters and shoppers alike enjoyed the day!  Here are some photos from the fayre...

Only one day until the Creations Christmas Craft Fayre!  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there and all the lovely things which will be for sale.

If you are unfamiliar with West Bergholt look out for the yellow direction posters around the village -  the Orpen Hall is on Lexden Road (next to the football pitch/ tennis courts and children's playground).

I crochet and knit anything from bed socks, baby wear to adult cardigans, jumpers, tops to blankets, throws and so much more.

I do about 10% of my work without a pattern, following customer requirements but mostly I work from patterns knitting and crochet, that customers have chosen from my selection or bought themselves.

I will be selling jewellery including necklaces, bracelets and earrings created from my own handcrafted polymer clay beads.

I work with polymer clay (Fimo) to make my beads which are baked to harden. These beads together with other spacer beads made of wood, silver, bronze and copper are used to create my jewellery.

My unique craft supplies are designed to inspire!  At the fayre I will be selling a range of paper products featuring my own designs; scrapbooking papers, collage sheets and gift boxes.  These can all be bought to print yourself, I will also have some papers available to buy ready printed on the day.

There will also be handmade buttons and a variety of kits full of papers, fibres, beads and other embellishments - great for cardmaking, scrapbooking and more!

I love working with gorgeous linens, Liberty of London Tana Lawn prints and dipping into my huge jar of vintage buttons whenever possible.

I use these materials to create a variety of textiles including children's clothing, soft toys, decorative home items, phone cases, brooches and other accessories.  Unable to part with even the tiniest of scraps I try to incorporate every precious item of fabric into my work.
