I do about 10% of my work without a pattern, following customer requirements but mostly I work from patterns knitting and crochet, that customers have chosen from my selection or bought themselves.

I will be selling jewellery including necklaces, bracelets and earrings created from my own handcrafted polymer clay beads.

I work with polymer clay (Fimo) to make my beads which are baked to harden. These beads together with other spacer beads made of wood, silver, bronze and copper are used to create my jewellery.

My unique craft supplies are designed to inspire!  At the fayre I will be selling a range of paper products featuring my own designs; scrapbooking papers, collage sheets and gift boxes.  These can all be bought to print yourself, I will also have some papers available to buy ready printed on the day.

There will also be handmade buttons and a variety of kits full of papers, fibres, beads and other embellishments - great for cardmaking, scrapbooking and more!

I love working with gorgeous linens, Liberty of London Tana Lawn prints and dipping into my huge jar of vintage buttons whenever possible.

I use these materials to create a variety of textiles including children's clothing, soft toys, decorative home items, phone cases, brooches and other accessories.  Unable to part with even the tiniest of scraps I try to incorporate every precious item of fabric into my work.

I studied dressmaking and textiles and grew a passion for seeking out gorgeous fabrics, especially those with a linen content as it is a pleasure to cut and sew.  Beautiful cushions, funky bunting and padded hearts are created with beauty and quality in mind.

Many of the cushions are a 'one off', some have been made using designer fabrics.  Everything is individually crafted and finished with care.

I make a variety of handknitted items from cowls to baby hats. I use high quality yarn which is always very soft and luxurious.

My items are unique and I love to experiment with different designs and textures. I have been knitting for a number of years taught by my mum at a young age.

We work with all types of beads and materials from semi-precious stones to steampunk charms and a mix of natural textures to make our jewellery.  There will be a range of styles and textures for sale at the fayre, from delicate jewellery to more chunkier styles.  We will also have shamballa/ macrame bracelets which are very popular at the moment.

As well as having jewellery to purchase on the day we will also be taking orders if you would like to buy a design in another colour.  These can be made and delivered within 2 weeks or sooner.

From sturdy shoppers made from furnishing fabrics to dainty evening bags and glasses cases made from printed silks, my bags are all carefully made in my home studio.

I started making my jewellery about 4-5 years ago and I was self taught.  I gradually learnt the different designs over this period until I was confident enough to sell them when I thought the quality was up to a professional standard I wanted.

I make a wide range of different items from beaded rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces and these are my own designs that are different from the normal jewellery that is sold.  I sell my items at very competitive prices, this gives everyone a chance to buy something and I hope remind them of my work.

My work has been published in the Crafts Beautiful magazine and I currently design for two design teams - The Crafty Pad & Top Tip Tuesday. I love making cards and gifts. Using new craft techniques and creating handmade items is the essence of my life. :)

I will be selling original artwork and prints of my illustrations which range from pet and animal portraits to quirky illustrations of Hexley; my steampunk inspired fictional town.

Hexley is a centre for learning and discovery set in the late Victorian era from a past that never was. My illustrations of Hexley include clockwork birds as well as unusual modes of transport like steam powered carriages and dirigibles.

Alongside the prints I will also be selling greeting cards, bookmarks, magnets and other items featuring my artwork.

I have been dressmaking all my life and started to make bags to try and use up the scraps of fabric left over. However once people get to know what I do I get given their remnants so my stash never actually decreases! I like the challenge of finding a way of using unusual fabrics and include patchwork and applique, and embellish with threads, ribbon and machine embroidery.

I shall be selling tote bags and handbags of various shapes and sizes, with some smaller items such as make-up bags, purses and brooches. I shall also have a few cushion covers and wall hangings. I get my inspiration from different sources, such as nature, art and from the fabric itself. I keep a scrapbook of images which I like to refer to when I'm working on something new.

What will you be selling at the Spring Fayre?

I will be selling a range of women's clothing from skirts, tops dresses, etc, all handmade by me. Although I will not be able to carry every size, I am happy to take custom orders.

What are your favourite materials to use?

I love fabrics and being on Etsy and Artfire enables me to indulge in this passion. I don’t follow any particular fashion trend, and this is reflected in the clothes I create, I make clothes for women who celebrate their femininity, clothes that can be worn across all seasons. I love working with natural fabric, such as wool, silk, cotton and linen, but I use other fabric blends, if I like the feel and quality, I feel this is very important in construction of the clothes I create.

What inspires your creations?

Everything inspires me, I appreciate tradition and the history behind people. I love nature and how beautifully the different colours sit comfortable alongside each other. Before I start on a new project, I generally start with the fabric, as I said I love fabrics, and I am constantly buying, I have so much fabric, I could easily open my own fabric shop. I don’t always know what I am going to create with each piece. I often sit amongst my fabric and visualize someone I know or someone I met. How they would look, their personality and how I could make the fabric work for them. I believe this is very important because it makes my work personal with that individual touch.

Hazel Cronin

After thirty years of floristry and preserving flowers I have finally found time in life to combine my love of painting water colours with my pressed flower art skills to create some unique pictures.

I will also have on the stand a collection of tapestry and patch work tote bags for sale. I have more recently been inspired to start sewing, the need to always have our shopping bags handy these days, the main inspiration behind them! Made with durable, attractive materials and strong handles for every day use , these bags won't end up in the recycling bin after one shopping trip.

A self taught potter, my husband Graham will be selling his hand thrown stoneware pottery too. After many years of professional potting, and then a break from it, he has returned to the wheel to enjoy making pottery as a hobby.
